Wonderful imagery, Lanie. The haiku is traditionally supposed to talk of the seasons, and this one marvellously conjures up the scene plus the feelings of winter. The only thing is, a haiku proper follows a very strict pattern, 17 syllables spread across three lines, 5 + 7 + 5, a bit like this:If I weren't so poorUgly and untalentedI'd be quite a catch!except it's not supposed to be silly like my one.
